Inner Ability Training

The land of training was so quiet, so serene. Creatures’ everywhere lounging and relaxing as a training session was underway. The sky was as blue as it’s ever been before and the grass shone the color of emerald as the suns beam made it sparkle just a tad. Atreyu would be standing in the center of all the glory and beauty of this scene as he took a moment to take it all in. it wasn’t long before he decided that it would be best for him to meditate first to become at peace with himself before he did anything rash. Sitting in the grass he took a deep breath and began to relax letting his surroundings be completely muted as he focused on his inner being, his inner self. As the minutes then grew into hours he was finally in a place where he could train without being distracted. He rose to his feet and placed both of his hands in front of him so that it looked like he was about to push someone. Black markings formed around his eyes as his iris and the eyeball turned different colors. His hands began to radiate with steam as fire was about to push out from them, but that’s not what he wanted, in the process of him meditating he had discovered what his inner ability is. Fire jolted from his hands as he quickly retracted them. The white flames shot for smiles before dispersing. He knew that this would be a task, so he tried again, this time he decided to be a bit more passive than he was before. He closed his eyes gain letting the energy in his body flow through his veins as he waited for the right time to exert it out and perform a great inner ability technique. He waited and waited for the right time to come when he had felt something. He exerted the energy and for a few seconds the temperature in the surrounding area was increasing and increasing. It was almost like a heat wave, but he had to stop because he didn’t want to kill everyone around him. He seemed to have gotten a good start but still it wasn’t good enough. He tried again, but fire shot from his hands. He knew that this would talk time, and that’s all he had at the moment. This time he focused harder and the heat began to decrease in the surrounding area. He could see his own breath. He didn’t know what to make of it at first. Be apparently it seems that he can control the temperature around him and everything else, but however it seemed to be an on and off thing. Whenever he would try again fire would jet from his palms, but that it not what he wanted, he didn’t want to take the fire in between he wanted to go straight to the temperature, and so that is what he would soon accomplish. He closed his eyes again as this time he decided to focus on himself rather than what’s around him. He closed his eyes and within an instant the temperature began to drop, he continued to have the temperature drop to see how far he could make it go. He stopped and took a step forward. The grass beneath his feet crunched as he stepped back. A smile spread across his face as he found his inner ability. He tried again, but this time he made the temperature increase instead. He had finally found his calling and a new ability. As the temperature rose the icy grass melted and was back to where it had been before Atreyu stepped foot on this land. It was clear that Atreyu was happy that he had mastered an ability he had discovered on his own, but in due time will we see what he does with this newly found power.
