Something Unexpected CLOSED

It had been three months since Jareth had seen Kanana. One could tell that there was something off about him because of that. He had never gone more than a few weeks without seeing her. He had known for some time that he was in love with her. But he did not know if she had felt those same feelings for her. He walked up to the palace door, his frame bent and broken. He was but a shell of the man that he was before. "Kanana, I'm here."

"I remember it..." Kanana trailed off and as Jareth began singing, she drifted off to sleep. She hadn't meant to; she was just exhausted.

tokiwa slumbered next to kanana softly breathing.

as the night slowly started to drift by, sometime during the night a nurse would enter the room with the baby in it, if anyone was awake still or up at that moment, she would make a remark about the doctor needing to check to make sure the baby was doing alright still, and then would leave with the baby. However, as time past and the sun started to raise she would not return, she would have left the castle in secret in the shadow of darkness, taking the child down to a warehouse on the edge of the city. the warehouse would have two large metal doors at the front of it, however there were other ways to get inside of it, there would be a medium sized group of guys inside, waiting for the nurse, in a few hours they were going to leave the city with the child. The nurse would have though herself scott-free and thinking she had not left any evidence however, she mistakenly dropped a press of paper when she was grabbing the child. the paper explained there plan to kidnap the child as her potential to be powerful was great, the paper also stated there location and that they were leaving the next day.

( there it is, XD but when you go to the warehouse please use a different entrance then those big metal doors as i have a plan for those >.<)

Kanana woke to see that she was in her own bed, no longer in the room that she'd given birth in. Jareth and Tokiwa were no where in sight, but her child's crib was next to her bed. With a small smile, she pulled back the covers and stood, automatically trying to put a hand on her stomach...until she realized that she was no longer pregnant. With a smile at that thought, she went over to the crib, reaching down to pick up the child....and all that was there was a bundle of blankets. With a panicked searched, she tore her room apart, looking for her child. She then screamed, a purely anguished cry, unable to find her child, "Nurse! Doctor! Guards! SOMEONE!" With a broken sob, she quickly dressed herself in her armor--armor that she hadn't worn for six months. It was slightly snug, and she cast it aside with a hated glance. She'd need to work to get her body back into shape; looking around, she eventually found something suitable; tight clothing that was lightly plated inside. It was not nearly as likeable as her regular armor, but she had to find her child. She found a small piece of paper near the child's crib and bent down to look at it; the paper detailed a kidnapping of Raira for her power...and it told her exactly where to go. With a whoop, she yelled for her troops to be gathered. She was going to get her baby back.

Tokiwa most likely would of been moved to her own bed, slumbering silently. however she would be awoken by sounds outside of her room, she would sleepily get out of her bed and walk over to her door, opening it. she would with tired eyes look around seeing people running around, and she could hear kanana ordering people, she slowly made her way towards kanana, "Whats going on?" tokiwa would ask kanana as she walked up to her in sleepy tone, rubbing her eyes.

Kanana looked down at her other daughter with an expression that could only be described as heartbroken. "They took Raira." She said quietly, patting Tokiwa on the head before her expression hardened and she continued whipping the Palace into shape so she could go get her kid back. She eventually forgot that Tokiwa was even awake with how driven she was towards this single-minded task.

Tokiwa couldn't hear what kanana had said due to the sounds around, she could however tell she was upset. Tokiwa didn't like that kanana was upset.... ( i know this is kinda controling but it isnt that bad)
Tokiwa saw kanana mistakenly drop a peice of paper from her hand, Tokiwa picked it up and was about to give it back to kanana, but before she could one of the serverts rushed her back into her room. Tokiwa now alone agien in her room, looked at the paper. explaining just had it did before. Tokiwa growled, her anger bubbling from inside, she tossed the paper aside, it catching fire from tokiwa. She hit her hand onto the wall, the serverts most likely wouldn't allow her to leave her room at this time.

Tokiwa wanted to help, and she had no way out. she then looked over, to her window and then she had a idea. ( crazy mode on!) something that could be dangerous and was very stupid, however she knew she would get to were the not said faster then the soldiers could. she went over and opened her window, she peeked her head out of it, noticing the drop. however she had to ignore the height, she would climbed out onto a ledge. slowly moving across the narrow edge, she quickly found one of the edges of the castle. she kneeled down and grabbed hold tightly to the ledge, before starting to climb down using indents from the castles desgin to give her footing. however when she got close to the ground, the indents became to small for even her small feet to stay in and she sliped and feel, however luckly for her, she was close enough to the ground and landed in a bush, it still hurt however, and while normaly that amount of pain would of brought her to tears, she held them back before quickly running to the warehouse, using all the alleyways and secret paths she learned from her time on the streets.

Jareth was a tad bit confused, for all of this had happened while he was standing right there! He hadn't even fallen asleep, or had he? He couldn't remember now. It must have been terrible for him to witness if he was awake. But he doubted that he was, even though he dreamed of the event. Was it possible that he was dreaming it as it had happened? And that he had merely pushed it off as if it was some sort of nightmare? It was indeed very possible.

So, he was out and about, looking for his crystals. He was going to use it to summon forth some Goblins that would hopefully aid them in securing his child. Raira, the small child. She would be taken back. As for those that took her from him and Kanana, they would be destroyed. He did not care how, but he knew that he was going to have a hand in it. His natural power, weak. But his unnatural power was strong. He would use his extensive knowledge to hunt them down and destroy them.

He grabbed a bag of his crystals and he met Kanana out by the guard house, he pulled out three of the crystals and he threw them into the yard. They all split into five each and they fell. They landed on various insects, and all of the insects turned into Goblin warriors ready to do battle for Jareth. Jareth briefed the Goblins on what was going on, and they instantly showed loyalty to him and to Kanana.

Tokiwa found herself at a warehouse, she hid herself behind some boxes as she watched as people seemed to move in and out of the warehouse. looking like workers for the most part however she noticed only certian people were going in and out of that certain warehouse. tokiwa quickly noticed anyone entering seemed to have to show a mark on there right arm before being allowed to enter. also the two 'door checkers' seemed to both be wielding swords. she sighed again she would be useless. she was almost ready to leave when she saw another man run up to the another two. he seemed out of breath and quite hurryed said that they were coming. one of the gaurds said somthing about having to move there cargo. Tokiwa was not stupid, she knew what they were talking about. the man was quickly allowed inside.

tokiwa worried they would be able get away with Raira before kanana could get there. anger filled tokiwa. without thinking she rushed out of her hiding spot, all rational thought gone for the moment. before either warehouse guard could react, tokiwa grabbed onto his right arm focusing her anger and rage. almost as soon as she did her hand burned right though the mans clothes, beginning to burn his arm as well. the man screamed in pain. the other gaurd quickly reacted kicking tokiwa knocking her away, before pulling the other man inside the large metal doors yelling at some others to shut them. before tokiwa get up, the doors had already been shut and locked, however that would not stop her, she was done being useless...

slaming both her hands into the large doors, the heat she was producing quickly traveled into the metal causing it to start glow orange, begining to bend and melt. soon tokiwa walked though the large hole she had created. the men inside had now prepared there weapons however fear had now crossed there faces, not expecting what the small girl to burn though the door so easy. "You think you could just kidnap my sister, and get away with it?" tokiwa would say, the heat building up in the air around her. "no one gets away with trying to hurt my family....no one.." she would mutter. inside of her head she would hear a demonic voice, " yes, unleash me.....I am your only hope to save your sister..." it would say, however tokiwa only smiled, "No.....I don't need you....." she would say, closing her eyes, and taking a deep breath in, the heat she was producing seeming to vanish.

cracks would seem to began to form on her skin a orange glow coming from them. they would spread all across her body. then with a loud scream she would open her eyes, her eyes now soild orange in color, then she would seemly explode in a bright orange light. when the light cleared, were tokiwa stood, there now stood a slightly taller looking woman, seemly created out of pure glowing orange lava. the men would quickly react and charge at her.

she would quickly dodge the first sword slash, then punch her hand into his face, burning it causing him to go down in the single attack. the next sword swing she would grab hold of the blade itself, causing the heat to quickly spread into the sword, burning the holders hands, forcing him to let go, before she spun the sword around and stabed it into his chest, killing him. another attacker came from behinde her and as she spun around, her hand would form into a blade slashing at him, cutting right though his sword and into his chest.

she turned back and looked back at the group that remained, including the servant that betrayed them she was holding raira . quickly rushing though the group she would get to the servert , however all heat from tokiwa would vanish, her body would would somhow only be giving off the heat a normal body would, however it would strangly stay in its current form. tokiwa looked down. at the servert. the woman trembling with fear. tokiwa would take raira away from her quite easy. she would glare down at her, "run..." she would mutter, the woman would quickly do so, along with the rest of the man, however most likely kanana and her men would of been there by then. tokiwa would then walk out of the warehouse with raira.

Jareth was marching with Kanana by his side, his wife. The two of them were marching. Aye, marching indeed. They were marching to get their daughter back. For, their daughter had been taken from them. More than likely it was due to political reasons. Everything can be traced back to politics. They were on a mission, but you couldn't really call this a mission. It was more of a crusade than a mission. Yes, it's a crusade.

So, Jareth and Kanana were marching on a crusade to save their daughter because she was kidnapped due to political reasons. Did I leave anything out? Yes, yes I did. Jareth was well enough to summon Goblins. Now, his Goblins are never meant for combat, not unless he original made them for the purpose of combat. Now, these Goblins were made for combat. So, these Goblins had bodies that were built for combat, They had large, barrel like chests, short, strong arms that would allow them close range combat. And strong legs, that would allow them the ability to run quickly. Their faces, they were shriveled, wrinkly, and lumpy. But you could still see emotion in them. For Goblins are people. Yes, Jareth considered them alive, he also considered them to be people. For, his Goblins are able to feel emotion, they can think for themselves, and they can say "no." All of these things taught Jareth a very important life lesson. That no matter someone's appearance, it's what's inside that matters.

So, Jareth and Kanana were on a crusade to save their daughter that was kidnapped due to political reasons. Jareth is able to summon his Goblins, that are still people despite not being human. And, they were there. When they got to the place, they saw that the door was open, and that they were looking at Tokiwa. And in her arms was little Raira. Jareth was hoping that Kanana would go easy on her for disobeying her, he knew how she was when she got angry.

Tokiwa just stood there holding raira, she watched Kanana give her a nod, seemly approving what tokiwa had did. which she was happy for. however tokiwa was quickly finding herself getting more and more tired by the second, this forced her to sit down on a nearby box. she has having trouble keeping her eyes open as it was. soon small patches of hardened lava began to spread all across her body. withing moments her body would be hardened and she would more seem like a statue then anything.

Jareth looked at Tokiwa, he was wondering if she had learned control due to his teaching her how to expel energy in the form of magic, or if it was simply her body gaining control of herself. He himself did not have the answer, for as knowledgeable as he was, he still did not know everything. So, he started to ponder, and ponder he did. He mainly pondered about little things, like if he saw Tokiwa as a daughter or not. It is natural that he would not feel that she is his daughter, simply because he hadn't had any real time to spend with her. Of course, that all changed whilst he was sick, but did that count? Only time would tell if he had begun to think of her as a daughter.

He looked back at her, and he noticed that she was using a lot less energy, and that she was sitting down. She walked on over to her, and he took Raira from her, handed her to Kanana, and then he picked up Tokiwa and he started to carry her, for he could tell that she was getting tired. He looked at her, while she was in his arms, and he thought about it. She rescued her sister, she was Kanana's daughter. He would be dam'ned if he was going to get left out of this little family. But, he knew that he can not force something like this. He'd have to let it happen naturally, so his next big plan is to grow closer to his family.

Jarth would find that tokiwa felt much more heavyer then a normal human. However after a small bit, the hardened lava skin would soon start to crack and falll off of tokiwa Revealing her human form under it. However at this point she had used to much energy and had fallen asleep.

Jareth had found that Tokiwa was heavier than usual, but he did not find it any more difficult to carry her than he would have before. For he was using magic, and that magic gave him strength. For, that is what that particular spell is for, for adding to the user's strength. Simple in idea, simple in theory. Complex in usage. For, the user's strength is increased without the user's muscle mass increasing. That is obviously tricky to produce. What happens, is that the spell increases the natural chemical known as "adrenaline," and this is what gives the user his or her incredible strength. Of course, over use of this spell can lead to the user's death.

Jareth continued carrying her, watching the stone harden and peel off as she slept. He would occasionally peel off a flake if it had gotten stuck on her skin, he was sure to do it gently as to not harm her. In time, she was back to normal weight, and he was back to normal strength. It had been a tiresome day, and he thought that Tokiwa had the right idea about what to do about it. Sleep, for he was tired from using up so much magical energy.

Kanana followed the two as Raira eventually fell asleep. It wasn't even mid-day, and yet she and her sister were both out cold. Jareth looked like he could use a bit of sleep too. Kanana took a few strides faster to end up next to him, instead of following from behind, and offered Raira to him. "Here. I can take her." she said; it wasn't really a question, because that wasn't really Kana's personality.

Tokiwa just stayed asleep, not really being bothered by the surrounded noises or movement. she had drained alot of engery forcing her lava form to stay in a cooled state. if she had not done that she would of had the energy to walk back herself, however it was needed to save raira.

Jareth stifled a yawn and he handed Tokiwa to Kanana, he took Raira, and he held his daughter close to him. His mind was still abuzz with pondering over whether or not he saw Tokiwa as a daughter, even if he did, would she see him as a father? These questions he did not know the answer to, and he knew that he wouldn't be able to sleep without thinking it through. And he also knew that he could not think it through without losing some sleep. So, he knew that a sleepless night was coming.

He looked over at Kanana, the woman that he loved. Odd that they weren't married yet. That's something that would need to be changed soon enough. But he needed to figure this thing about Tokiwa first, he needed to think about it. But that would take a while. So, in the mean time, he was going to put Raira to sleep, and then discuss this with Kanana. So, he looked at her, and he asked her, "Do you think that Tokiwa would ever see me as a father to her?"

Jareth looked at Kanana, "You don't see it, but I do. It's in the way that she looks at you, in the way that you look at her. You see her as your daughter, and she sees you as her mother. Only a mother's love could have gotten through to her while she was in that state. She does see you as her mother, I suspect that she has for a while. You just haven't noticed."

He sighed and looked at the sky, "Our child, I hope that she'll enjoy having me as a father, though I'll be terrible. You have experience, you have Tokiwa to thank for that. I don't, I haven't got the slightest inclination at what to do. So this is what I'm going to do, I'm going to strive towards being a better man for their sake. So that I can be her father as well, so that I can be there for her in case you ever fail to do so. I want to be able to be there for her, I really do. I will be there, but will she see me there? That is what I want to know, that is what I'm striving for."

Kanana nodded at what he said, although she refrained from commenting. She personally didn't think Jareth would be awful as a father--he would just have to find what the children loved and become interested. As for their daughter...well, she had no worries that she would love that he was her father.

Tokiwa was a curious girl, though, and Kanana really couldn't be sure of anything. They eventually came to the portcullis, now at home. A guard took Tokiwa out of Kanana's arms and took her into the Palace to her bedroom.

Jareth watched as Tokiwa was taken to her bedroom, he looked at her, and he looked at Kanana, "So, what happens now? My own brother attempted to kill me. What will we do about this?" He was curious to know what her answer would be, for he wondered what they were going to do about it. "Beyond that, it could very well have been him that set the kidnapping up."

He was formulating plans within his head, he did not know what he was going to do, only that he was going to do it soon. He was going to be sure that he succeeded in it. Whatever it was, he just needed to know what she would say. But first thing came first, he got to one knee, looked at Kanana, and asked her for her hand in marriage.
