    A Wanderer's Journey Empty A Wanderer's Journey

Post by Katoteshikumei Fri Aug 17, 2012 8:18 pm

Kato looked at the lake, he had heard that if you were to touch it, you would die. Well, he felt that he had no use in life, so he decided to touch it. He stuck his hand in the water, and he pulled it out after a brief moment. He was too much of a coward to kill himself. He was tired of living, and unwilling to die. He was in quite the predicament.

Another water disturbance? A month ago, Olivine would have considered a disturbance like this odd, but since then, it had happened entirely to often. "Who could it POSSIBLY be this time," she spoke, gazing out the window. It was a man, but not one she had ever seen before. An intruder she thought. "GUARDS!"

Katso saw the guards and he let them take him, his gaze sad and weary. His height would have bothered them, for he was tall. When they tried to take him forward he grabbed his cane and he started to walk on it. He was a poor soul, one that knew no such thing as love or compassion. For none had ever showed it to him. The guards brought him to the queen, he saw her. And he looked down at himself, sorrow and sadness within his very aura.

The guards took the man from the lake to Olivine. She looked him over once or twice, he definitely hadn't been trying to swim across the lake. "Can I ask what you were doing to my precious water?"

She gave a stern expression and awaited a response.

Katso looked at the man to his left, he motioned for him to come closer. When he did not he turned around and started to try and talk to the queen. His first attempt was a failure, that is to say that he threw up after saying, "I wanted to-BLEARAGAHG!"

"Hm, that's quite disgusting," Olivine said, eyes on the floor where the man had vomited, "It's a good thing I'm over here and not in your, range."

"Now that you've got the sick out of your system (I hope) are you going to answer my question?"

Katso simply looked down and finished what he was saying, "Die." He started to retch again, but he stopped. "I wanted... To... Die..."

"To die? And why is that?" she was now sympathetic to the poor man. His was truly a sad story, she was sure of this, but she wanted to hear it.

Katso did not reply, he couldn't talk in front of her without spewing again, so he instead took his shirt off. His body was covered in scars, some were self inflicted, others obviously were not. He pointed to one scar in particular. One that was over his heart. He traced it with his finger, and he put his shirt back on. His face filled with grief. He looked at a guard and whispered into his ear that he could not talk to women without vomiting. The guard then turned around and said, "My Queen. This man has just informed me that he cannot talk to women without vomiting."
